Explain? Let me guess, you didn't like the junction system. The battle system takes a dump on 9 and that's what matters most. If 8 sucks then what does that say about 9, it's the lowest selling FF on Playstation.
It's a huge step back from 7 and 8s battle systems. 9 feels slow. Trance can barely be used and the limit breaks suck. Compare Lionheart to Grand Lethal? Night and day difference.
8 is the most underrated game in the series. I don't see what love it's getting these days. Everyone whines about the junction system. I played the game just fine as a 12 year old. I'll take a flawed level up system with an exciting battle system over 9's bland battle system any day.
No, 7 earned its acclaim. 8 is vastly underrated today. Weird because it sold way more than 9 did. 9 was a huge step back from those games in terms of the battle system but people ignore that just because Vivi is cute...
The most overrated game in the series.. This game gets love just for being more like the older games.
The setting is quality mode at 60fps. The other consoles have to get performance settings to match. All they have to do is slightly lower the resolution and it's way better than the base consoles.
Gaming has never been cheap. Also, this increase isn't permanent. Don't think it'll come to that..

Same, everything about 8 was better. Don't know why 9 got the love it's been getting. The battle system, music, and story was better in 8 although the story confused some people. 8 is like an epic anime while 9 is like a Saturday morning cartoon.
